Textbook Ordering

HOW DO I FIND THE BOOKS I NEED FOR A SPECIFIC CLASS?

  • Click on Textbook Lookup in the blue bar at the top of the screen
  • Click the Academic Term you wish to purchase books for
  • Click on the Department for the Course you wish to purchase books for
  • Click on the Course number and name for the Course you wish to purchase books for
  • Click on the Section of the Course you wish to purchase books for and the list of books needed will appear

CAN I RENT MY BOOKS?


For many books, the answer is yes.  Please see Rental Program under Questions & Answers for more information.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO PAY WITH MY STUDENT ACCOUNT?

We will contact the Student Account office.  They will let us know if you have a credit available to pay for the order.  If you do not have the available credit, you will receive an email notifying you that your order has been cancelled. 

HOW DO I KNOW MY GIFT CARD BALANCE?

Just stop by the bookstore and ask the cashier to check the balance for you.

WHY DIDN’T I RECEIVE ALL MY BOOKS?

  • Books may have been removed from your order if you chose “Please remove any unavailable items from my order” if we were not able to fill your order exactly as you requested.  You will not be charged for the book you did not receive.
  • Book may be on back order.  At times books are delayed.  You will be charged for the book and there will be a notice in your order letting you know which book is missing.  You will receive an email when the book is available for pick up. 

WHY WAS I CHARGED A DIFFERENT AMOUNT THAN THE AMOUNT ON MY ORDER?

Your charge may be different than the total on your order if you chose “Please replace my selection with a new/used version if it is not in stock.  This may affect my order total.”  If we are unable to fill the order with the condition you requested, we will fill your order with the same book but a different condition.  You will be charged based on the condition of the books you actually receive.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER?

You will receive an order confirmation that the order has been placed.  When your order has been processed and is ready to be picked up or shipped you will receive an email, stating that your order is now complete.

WHERE SHOULD I GO TO PICK UP MY ORDER?

The bookstore is in Trinity’s Bootsma Bookstore Café.  Go to the back left corner under the sign that says ORDER PICK-UP HERE. 

WHAT INFORMATION WILL I NEED TO PICK UP MY ORDER?

You will need your student ID and your order number.  The order number will be found in the email you received letting you know your order is ready for pick-up.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY ORDER?

Sure.  Include the individual’s name in the comment section when ordering or send us their name from your Trinity email to bookstoreorders@trnty.edu.  Be sure whoever is picking up the order knows the order number and the name on the order.

I HAD MY ORDER SHIPPED AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET.  WHERE IS IT?

After you receive the email that your order is complete, your items will be shipped.  You will then receive an email from Pitney Bowes with your tracking information.   Please check your spam or junk folder if you can’t find the tracking email.
